Water Wubble Review

 We have review several of the Wubble Ball products because my son personally LOVES them. Hurtle Funtastic Robot Review

 Does your little one enjoy Science? Have you heard about STEM learning? It seems so many studies have shown both are vital to children's education lately. Everywhere I look I see those two categories in articles, on daytime TV shows and in the classroom. We have been luck finding great education toys that help fuel my sons love of Science under a blanket of learning. Meet his new Hurtle a Funtastic Robot.

Salted Fish Lunch Bowl

 My Mom has been on diet kick for some time. She will not eat certain kinds of  breads, pasta and it has me struggling to make her something she will enjoy! I finally found a great recipe she enjoys that has several of the things she loves mixed into one tasty dish!

The Salted Cod Lunch Bowl is easy to make here is what you will need:

Cristobal Fish

1 Can of Bean ( We used the Back eyed version)

Sweet corn

Cilantro

Honey

 Minced garlic

 I was going to add salt but decided against it because this particular fish comes pre-salted!

Diced Tomatoes - I found a mix at my local grocery store

I washed my fish off before cutting it. They I sliced it into stripes and cooked in some oil and honey. Our personal palette does not like a large amount of salt so I sweetened it up with the honey. It gives a nice caramelized texture and flavor. After the fish has cooked I set aside and quickly warm the corn and beans. I personally like them drained and cooked. 

Why watch 13 Reasons Why on Netflix

 If you have seen the ads for the show "13 Reasons Why" based on the best selling book you might have been intrigued. I know I was. I come from, let's just say not the greatest past. I could relate just reading the synopsis. I will say if you have NOT watched the show it has TRIGGERS within it. They go into detail both through conversation and showing graphic situations to get many struggles of teenagers and adults. Would I sit and watch this my seven year old? NO!

 Let's start at the beginning because that is how the shows starts. I may give some spoilers but I will try and refrain because I know not everyone has watched it. I guess I can comfortably say it is about a young adult, Hannah, who commits suicide. I think everyone gets that from just the ads alone so that should not be too much of a "spoiler". She leaves behind tapes to those she "blames" for this. This shows explains in HER mind many reasons "why". Let me just stop and say I do NOT think suicide is the RIGHT option for anyone. I want to say that before I go into a little bit about my past and why this particular show got to me. Why I feel the way I do and why it was a good thing even if it brought up some harsh realities of my personal childhood.

Peach Dish Review

I had see those ads on Facebook for the grocery boxes and was down right skeptical. Well, unannounced to me this box of goodies was a life send a few weeks back and I have been on a mission to keep trying them out. I love the convenience of ordering the food online and having it sent to my door. I can skip weeks or unsubscribe completely. My family gets to try new meals and I can use the extra time to catch up on work. And NO they are not paying me to say all this! I actually wanted to try Peach Dish out for so many great tasty reasons.

Our first meal was one I did not actually pick out. Like I said one of the main reasons to try these food boxes was to TRY NEW food! SuperFood Fiesta Bowl was way out of our comfortable zone. I have never in my life had Quinoa and I was a bit unsure how my family would react. 

Reasons to Explore Put in Bay, Ohio

 We started our adventure on the Jet Express. Since we had stayed on Kelleys  island we have to travel to Put-in Bay by waterway. Looking back we wished we had stay on Put-in-Bay island itself. There was so much to see that we wished we had more than a day to do it all. The Jet Express got us there in no time at all and went by some great sights just exciting us to get on the island and explore. Since we had never been I want to share some things I wish I had known going into this trip. I also want to share why this would be a great Spring/Summer trip for your family! First up if you do want to stay on the island choose from Bed & breakfasts, cottages, hotels, condos or camp!

Recipe: Garlic Pork Tenderloin

Have you seen this VIDEO that has been all over the Facebook inter-webs?? I always see these and think I could do that. Unfortunately, I did not have Roast beef I had a Pork tenderloin and thought would it still work? I gave it a go and guess what.... AMAZING!!!

What you will need:

2 TBS Garlic salt

2 Garlic cloves minced

1 TBS. Parsley

1 TBS ginger Salt mix ( we bought this at Wegmans)

3 TBS Soft butter

1 Tenderloin

1 TBS Rosemary 

Easter Shopping at Kmart & Giveaway

While in our local Kmart we saw a selection of Easter supplies. Since little man was not with us I decided to get some ideas for his basket this year. I was very excited to see such a large selection since he can be, at times, picky. I swear he is seven going on 17!

Creating Photos your Family will Love

As a professional Blogger I take photos a LOT! Unfortunately, I have very little of the three of us, together, as a family. Not because I don't want some but we are the three musketeers and usually one of us have to hold the camera. I decided to make an appointment at Portrait Innovations and change that!

Luckily my family is very well versed in photos. Since I take photos rather often but here are a few tips just in case your family isn't so "trained". Make sure to eat beforehand so no one has the hungry grumbles. Bring extra clothes JUST in case of spills, stains or mishaps. Use the restroom before you start because you never know when you "have to go"! The staff was super friendly and our session didn't take long to get some great shots, thankfully. I love photos, don't get me wrong, but there are only so many times you can smile in an hour without a breakdown, especially if you have little one's!
