Travel: St. Francis Inn

While in St Augustine's we had the pleasure of staying in one of the "oldest inns" in town the  St Francis Inn. "Dating from 1791, the Inn embodies the rich history and culture of the nation's oldest city, and visitors are invited to delve into the stories that comprise its colorful past. Anna Dummett converted her family home into a lodging establishment in 1845. The inn operated under many names until 1948 when the Inn was christened "The St Francis Inn."
The St Francis Inn is on the National Register of Historic Places. Which you can see why with the wonderful vintage charm. The amenities are high end to detail and extremely luxurious.
The rooms are adorned with modern touches to accommodate anyone's taste. The corner Jacuzzi was such a delight to take baths in I wanted to bring it home with us!
Granite anyone?
It is very apparent expense was not spared for details, toiletries and decor.
Each room comes with alcoholic beverages although you can walk down to the common room for other choices. I personally enjoy the complimentary coffee and desserts!
I received a media rate to facilitate my review. I was not required to write a positive review nor was I compensated in any other way. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the FTC Regulations.
We also enjoyed the outside swings on the porch balcony.
Since it is a bed & breakfast the rooms come with complimentary breakfast buffets, light house Museum tours and access to other St. Augustine tours!
This is a great location to stay at if you want old world charm. They also accept children are one of the few in the old city that do.
