Travel - Butterfly Conservatory, Canada

We had a lovely time visiting the Butterfly Conservatory in Canada.

They have over 2,000 butterflies, made up of 45 different species. As soon as you walk into the room you are welcomed by butterflies!
They cover the plants, flowers, stone walls and walkways.
Some blend in so well my son had to point them out!
They really are so beautiful and majestic.
They flutter around through all the walkways.
We had so much fun just walking around and taking pictures hoping one will land on us.
My favorite butterflies were the blue colored ones and white ones!
We were lucky to have a few land on us whilst there.
They feel a bit fuzzy and tickle your fingertips!
What we enjoyed: The pathways are nice and wide to allow traffic through. Every where you turn you see butterflies. It is great for all ages, groups or people there is something to enjoy for all!
What could be Improved: Perhaps a reminder to those walking in to watch their step! There was a few casualties because people would just run around chasing butterflies not realizing some were on the ground.
Overall Rating: We really enjoyed ourselves and spent a good hour or two walking around, sitting and just enjoying the butterflies.
Solid 4.8 out of 5 Stars!

  2. What a fun afternoon - that would be an amazing outing. I've had several butterflies visit the garden this summer and I really enjoy watching them. So delicate.
