Wubble Bubble Ball Review #Sponsored

Yum

We were lucky to have the Wubble bubble ball in our home this past week. At first glance this six sided box doesn't look like a whole lot but it claims to have some of the best fun for kids an parents. I don't know about you but I love blowing Bubbles for small children! They smile, laugh and it is just easy entertainment with fun & fond memories. The only thing is the bubbles pop and blow away. Not to mention after blowing some bubbles you decided ok time for a break. I love the idea of an unbreakable bubble you can inflate and deflate for easy storage. When I saw a fellow Youtuber, Gravyardgirl, use one I was hooked & ready to try ours out!

"The Wubble is like no other ball or toy you’ve ever played with before! It really does look like a bubble…and moves like a bubble—but won’t pop like a bubble! You can kick it, whack it, throw it, bounce it—and even sit on it! The Wubble floats, wobbles, dribbles, spins, smashes—and makes really WACKY SOUNDS"!!! I will say it does collect dirt because the surface is kind of static and sticky almost. Just remember to wash it.
The best part besides all the fun we have had with the Wubble is they offer a Lifetime replacement Guarantee. Simply visit their website, print the claim form and ship your Wubble in the envelop they provide in every box (you can also use a standard envelope). Here is the address:
Wubble Help
NSI International Inc.
12 West 27th Street, 5th Floor

"Wubble Ball has been selected by Family Fun Magazine as one of the Top 25 Toys of the Year and won awards from Dr. Toy (Best 100 Toys), the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio, The National Parenting Center, Mr. Dad and more! Wubble also was awarded a coveted spot on the annual "Target Hot Toys List."

Pumpkin Picking

Yum
We are getting ready for our 9th Annual Pumpkin Party for the kids. The first thing you need for a pumpkin Party is Pumpkins!  And I know you can go and purchase them from a local chain store BUT where is the fun in that? (ok so it's convenient but I like some adventure). I also believe in purchasing from a local farmer to help them and our community.
With the exclusion of last year we have purchased pumpkins from this farm every year.
Last year they didn't sell any due to the crappy weather conditions.
So we set out and loaded out car trunk.
First the little pumpkins for painting!
Then we headed to the bigger pumpkins. I have to say this was the best part.
Watching Mac pick out pumpkins for others kids and getting excited!
We filled our trunk for around $20!!
Whose ready for Pumpkin & Halloween Parties?

Netflix October Picks #Streamteam

Yum
This month has been VERY exciting in the Cleland household as far as Netflix is concerned. I know it is the month of Horror/scary tales but HGTV shows have come to Netflix. "Awwwww" to say I would, if given I had no other responsibilities, watch these shows for hours on end. So, I am claiming two picks this month first up the show
Holmes Inspection Collection- "Victimized by poor home assessments, homeowners turn to general contractor Mike Holmes for a proper inspection and to make their homes shipshape".
If that wasn't amazing enough I also have been devouring episodes of the show
Property Brothers- "Jonathan Scott and real estate expert Drew Scott are identical twins who combine their skills to help families get their dream home". It is such a toss up which show I enjoy more because I love watching home improvement/ helping others showcases!
Alright moving right along Mac wanted to venture a pick this month as well. He is not into scary things yet in fact if it does not have a smile he pretty much wants nothing to do with it! So this month he stayed true to October and choose:
Curious George: A Halloween Boo Fest - "Hang on to your hats and get ready for a spook-tacular good time, with Curious George. Autumn is here, bringing colorful leaves, hay rides, pumpkin patches, and the annual Boo Festival".
Ok, well that about raps up our Monthly Netflix list. I wanted to just end on a special note to Netflix and say Thank you so much for allowing me another year on the #StreamTeam. We really have enjoyed it and look forward to another year!!

Wegmans Halloween Party

Yum
We had the fun of attending the Wegmans Halloween Party for kids this year! I wanted to try out something new and since we enjoyed the Organic event so much I hoped we would like this too!
They had some great Halloween snack, drinks & fun names.

They set it up in stations to help things move along and for the kids to spread out. First we tried corn toss & spin the wheel. We won Organic juice from this, love it!
Then we made some Spider hats.
So we dug in and made our little hats!!
I just love this fun wholesome kid activity.
Next was a cute photo prop which as you should know by now we LOVE!
I especially love the Halloween recyclable bag because we own one just like it.
Then on to the Apple bar...think Caramel covered slices.
Then last up we decorated cookies.
I have to say Mac did so well with this I might institute these bar ideas at kid parties form now on. If you have an opportunity to attend these types of events I really encourage you too! They are worth the few dollars and kids have so much fun.

Halloween Themed Party #Halloween

Yum
I have been collecting Halloween finds pretty much all year. Because I host a annual Pumpkin Party for the kids. This party has always been a big deal for me because I have done it even before I had a child. Since it is an event every year I need to find decor that I can reuse with a small price tag!
I used several of the bowls we scored to hold Costume props for the photo area.
This worked out great!
The two I had left over I used for our Popcorn bags.
I just love the way these look with the "loot" bags in them!
The gift bags I used for decor as well.
This was a nice way to incorporate different friendly characters and I can reuse them each year!
I tried to tie everything in by placing pumpkins around too.
This helped pull the regular finger foods in the Halloween theme.
These cute Hobby Lobby signs help too!
Our pumpkin table. Kids would choose which one they wanted to take down and carve.
What party isn't complete without CUPCAKES??
I kept these really simple because it is a kids party.
Last up we gave books with CDs as a "Thank you for coming" favor.
Do you throw a Halloween Party?

Day 10: 10 without shoes

Yum

Watch my whole journey through this quick video above. I have to say it was a challenging 10 days to go without shoes. Luckily, the weather held up for most of it and I was blessed with rain on only one day. The things I experienced can really be found below on each daily excerpt. I tried to write down and catalog everything for those of you who followed my journey and wanted to see what happened.
Day 1: I stared my challenge off barefoot.... Find out all about how that went here.
Day 2: We dropped Mac off to school, without shoes. I went to stores, a friends for coffee, office without shoes. I wanted to really have the experiences of what it is like. Find out how that went over here.
Day 3 & 4: I am pretty sure my feet have calluses the size of Texas and I barely feel a thing now! Check out how these two days went here.
Day 5 & 6:On these two days I found the CURE to eliminate all shoe-less people in the world...." I look at stores and think you have isles of shoes for sale, I bet if every store in the world contributed 1 pair of shoes to those in need we could cure the shoeless across the nations! Just food for thought". Read about it here.
Day 7, 8 & 9: These were my most trying days of this challenge. I was becoming resentful because I wanted to go and do things but was limited by my lack of shoes. Not to mention my back pain was horrific these days, see here.
Day 10: My final thoughts of this challenge.. The day I woke up and this challenge was done was a HUGE relief. I learned a lot about myself through this. The Author who inspired me to take these challenges this year asked "Have I found it to be rewarding"? My answer was at first HA, NO! My fee & back hurt all I want is shoes.... but then I really thought about it and came up with this. I was representing a portion of those without footwear. I am blessed with shoes and the money to purchase new ones if I need too (thank Goodness!). We as a society need to be an example for others. A beacon for light and love. I helped a small fraction of the population but what I gain from this experience will stay with me for years to come. Compassion, empathy, respect and understanding. These are things my son and those around me will see through me. I hope you all enjoyed this little walk with charity event and I will see you next month with yet another one!
