Homemade Chicken Noodle soup recipe

Yum
Homemade Chicken Noodle soup recipe
What you will need:
8 cups chicken broth ( DON'T USE Wegman's ORGANIC for this, taste funky)
3 boneless chicken breasts, chopped
 3 carrots, diced
1-2 stalks of celery, diced
1 onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
  1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon Frank's hot sauce
2-3 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
Egg noodles, uncooked ( DO NOT GET eggless noodles, trust me!)
Throw all ingredients EXCEPT the noodles in the crock pot, stir,
and cook on low for 2 hours. It is especially great when you have a cute little helper!
Once the veggies are soft add the noodles and cook for another 20 minutes.
Then serve and enjoy! A great remedy for winter weather.

  1. Definitely much healthier than the canned version! My mom used to make it with homemade egg noodles... those were good!
Thanks for sharing at the Healthy Tuesday hop. :)

  2. I am making Chicken noodle soup but my family will not touch hot sauce. I like to add a bit of ginger instead.
